Physiotherapist jobs in Penang — freelance & part-time
PhysioPenang connects Penang patients with home-visit physiotherapists.
We are always looking for MAHPC-registered physiotherapists who want flexible, well-paid home-visit work — whether that is a full freelance caseload, a few weekend sessions, or owning one local area.
Why join the PhysioPenang network
- ✓ Flexibility first. Choose your own caseload, areas and hours. Freelance, part-time, weekend or area-based — you decide how much you take on.
- ✓ Honest, per-visit pay. No opaque commissions. You know what each home visit pays before you accept it.
- ✓ No clinic overheads. We are a directory, not a clinic — you keep your independence and treat patients in their homes across Penang.
- ✓ Steady demand. Home physiotherapy for seniors, post-surgery and stroke recovery is growing across Penang Island and the Mainland.
All roles require current MAHPC registration.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be MAHPC-registered to join PhysioPenang?
Yes.
Every physiotherapist in the PhysioPenang network must hold current registration with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
This protects patients and keeps our directory trustworthy.
What working arrangements are available?
Three genuinely different arrangements: freelance per-visit work across Penang, fixed part-time or weekend sessions, and area-based mobile roles where you own one Penang zone.
You can start with one and move between them as your availability changes.
How is pay calculated?
Freelance and weekend roles are paid per completed home visit; area-based roles work toward a predictable monthly figure.
The ranges on each role page are indicative market figures — your actual rate is confirmed based on experience, arrangement and caseload.
Can fresh graduates apply?
Yes.
Fresh graduates with strong hands-on clinical training are welcome, especially for weekend and area-based roles where you build a steady caseload.
You must still hold current MAHPC registration.
Which areas does PhysioPenang cover?
We cover Penang Island and the Mainland — including George Town, Bayan Lepas, Air Itam, Tanjung Bungah, Jelutong, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam and Balik Pulau.
You choose the areas you can realistically travel to.
